💰 Pricing & Plans

How much does a business phone system cost?

Kenekt'd plans start at $10.99/line/month for Business Standard. The Business Essentials plan is $17.99/line/month and includes call queues, auto attendants, and ring groups. Business Elite is $24.99/line/month and adds mobile and desktop softphone apps, voicemail transcription, and priority support.

Add-ons include Business SMS ($4.99/user/month) and Business eFax ($10/line/month). There are no setup fees and no long-term contracts — just month-to-month.

Are there any setup fees or contracts?

No setup fees and no long-term contracts. All Kenekt'd plans are month-to-month. You can add lines, remove lines, or cancel at any time. We believe our service should earn your business every month.

Do I need to buy phones?

Phones are included with qualifying plans. We'll work with you to make sure you have the right hardware — whether that's desk phones, conference room units, or just the mobile softphone app on your existing devices.

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Yes. We handle number porting from your current provider. Most numbers transfer within 5–10 business days. During the transition, we make sure you don't miss any calls.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes. We stand behind our service with a money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, let us know and we'll make it right.

⚙️ Features & Technology

What is VoIP and how is it different from a traditional phone system?

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) uses your internet connection to make and receive calls instead of traditional copper phone lines. The practical difference: lower cost, more features, and the ability to work from anywhere. Your team can take calls on their desk phone, computer, or cell phone — all through the same business number.

What is an auto attendant?

An auto attendant is an automated phone menu that greets callers and routes them to the right department or person — "Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Support" and so on. It gives your business a professional image even if you have a small team, and ensures callers always reach the right person.

What is voicemail to email?

Voicemail to email sends you an audio file and/or text transcription of every voicemail directly to your email inbox. You can listen to messages from anywhere without calling in to check voicemail. Available on Business Elite.

Can my team use the phone system on their cell phones?

Yes. Business Elite includes the mobile and desktop softphone app. Your team can make and receive calls through their business number on any smartphone or computer — no desk phone required. Great for remote workers and field staff.

What is a ring group?

A ring group lets multiple phones ring simultaneously when a call comes in, so whoever is available can answer. Common uses: ringing the whole sales team at once, or ringing the front desk and a backup line together. Available starting with Business Essentials.

What is business texting?

Business SMS lets you send and receive text messages from your business phone number. Your team can text customers without using personal cell numbers, and customers can text your main business line. Available as a $4.99/user/month add-on.

Can I have multiple locations on one phone system?

Yes. Kenekt'd cloud VoIP works across any number of locations since it runs over the internet. All locations share the same system — the same auto attendant, the same extensions, the same management portal — regardless of where they are.

Does VoIP work if my internet goes down?

Your calls can be automatically forwarded to a cell phone or backup number if your internet goes down. The cloud never goes down — only your local connection can be affected, and we help you plan for that.

🛠️ Setup & Support

How long does setup take?

Most businesses are up and running within 1–3 business days. We handle everything — number porting, phone configuration, auto attendant setup, and user training. There's no downtime during the transition.

Do I need an IT person to manage the system?

No. The management portal is designed for non-technical users. Adding a line, changing call routing, updating your auto attendant greeting — all of it is done through a simple web interface. We also offer no-cost changes for Elite customers.

What kind of support do you offer?

24/7 support for active customers. We're a local Central Oregon company, so when you call you reach real people who know your system — not an overseas call center.

What internet speed do I need for VoIP?

Each active call uses roughly 80–100 Kbps of bandwidth. A business with 10 simultaneous calls needs about 1 Mbps dedicated to voice. Most modern business internet connections handle VoIP comfortably. We can assess your connection before you sign up.

Can I try Kenekt'd before committing?

Yes — contact us for a demo and we'll walk you through the system live. We can also set up a trial so you can experience the quality before making any decisions.
